Our statement of faith:
NCIBC is a Christ-centred institution. The Board of Directors and the Academic Advisors along with the faculty and staff are committed to an evangelical interpretation and application of the Christian faith. The NCIBC community is closely identified with the present day renewal, which emphasises the fruit, gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit. It is expected that students will both understand and be committed to receiving education in accordance with the following articles of faith:
- There is one God, eternally existent, in three persons, and revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit
- The Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative source of Christian doctrine and conduct, being the Word of God
- Man was created in the image of God, but as a result of sin is lost and powerless to save himself
- The only hope for man is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, the Son of God, who died to take upon Himself the punishment for the sins of mankind, and who rose from the dead, so that by receiving Him as Saviour and Lord, man is redeemed by His blood
- Jesus Christ will personally return to earth in glory and power
- The Holy Spirit indwells those who by faith receive Christ as Lord, for the purpose of being enabled to live righteously and holy lives
- We believe in the demonstration of obedience to the Lordship of Christ by water baptism by immersion
- The Church is the Body of Christ and is comprised of all those who through belief in Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit; the mission of the Church is the worldwide evangelism of every nation and race and the discipling and up building of Christians
- God created all men on earth and has committed unto the church the worldwide mission of reconciliation between man and God; to this end we believe in the equality of all men irrespective of race or ethnic origin and the indigenous nature of the Church in each nation
